Achille Gaggia found Gaggia in 1930 in Milan, Italy with the quest to make the perfect cup of espresso. Today they offer a range of machines that ranges from affordable to higher end and then to bean to cup.
About the Gaggia MDF 55 Espresso Grinder
The Gaggia Classic Pro has been Gaggia's best selling espresso machine for some time. The problem is that one had to pair it with other brands espresso grinders to get the best results - until now.
Gaggia has taken hands with Eureka to produce the MDF 55. There are many similarities between the Eureka Mignon range and the MDF 55. The touchscreen, micrometric adjustment, adjustable fork and somewhat the design (although there are differences) are noticeable similarities. The internal components are also Eureka, being the 55mm stainless steel burrs, noise reduction, anti clumping and the 310W motor.
There are differences though. Gaggia has coated this in a beautiful aluminum coating, the fork has a rubber for your portafilter protection, the hopper is much shorter (to fit under your counter) and a removable grinds collector tray. The dial is much bigger than the Speciality and coated in the classic Gaggia Red.
