About the La Marzocco Pico Home Espresso Grinder

La Marzocco is well known for quality espresso machines, and owning one is not only a sign of how serious you are about your coffee, but also a fashion statement. La Marzocco has taken time to design and build a home grinder that pairs with their Linea Mini and Micra, and finally it is here.

Housed in a stainless steel casing, the feeling is solid and robust and at only 40cm high and 15cm wide, the grinder is compact and will fit most kitchens. The 39mm conical steel burrs with noise reducing and brushless induction motor will grind your coffee beans to espresso size quietly and in no time. 

The Pico is a time based grinder and has three buttons to quickly navigate to the different modes (single, double or manual grinding). Hold the button in for two seconds to go into programming and quickly adjust the time with the plus and minus buttons. 

The conical burr set is known for less heat than the flat burr sets, and this can help preserve taste and quality of the coffee. The grinder is designed for a straight down grind and also has an anti static declumping inside to minimise coffee flying around after its ground. 

We were impressed with the time (around 10 seconds for 18 grams of coffee), quality (conical burr set) and the low spillage (anti static declumping) of the grinder. If you are looking for a home coffee grinder to match your Linea or Micra, then this is the grinder for you.
